For the purpose of this tutorial, we will use examples that are relevant to the Indonesian crypto space, although the process remains largely similar and can be easily navigated even without the use of this guide.
To withdraw funds from Coinomo, you need to prepare a personal wallet such as Metamask or a wallet on another exchange that allows withdrawal of Rupiah funds directly to a registered bank account such as TokoCrypto or Indodax.
Part 1: Wallet Exchange
Before withdrawing funds from Coinomo, it’s a good idea to open the wallet or exchange application that you have. For this example, I use the TokoCrypto exchange that has been verified. It is a good idea to perform ID verification on either Coinomo or TokoCrypto before beginning this process.
1. Choose Wallet > Deposit in Exchange
Open the TokoCrypto application, click the “Wallet” tab and you will be taken to the wallet page where there are “Deposit“, “Withdraw” and “Transfer” buttons. If you can see the total funds and coins you have on the exchange. Click the “Deposit” button to continue the process.
2. Pick Your Coin > BEP2
On this page you can choose which coins to send from the Coinomo app. In this example, we will use USDT due to lower transfer fees. Once you have selected USDT, make sure you select the “BEP2” or Binance Chain tab. You can copy the Deposit Address or MEMO by pressing the “+” button on the right. You can also directly scan the QR deposit address from the Coinomo application.
Part 2: Coinomo App
1. Choose Wallet > Deposit in Coinomo
Open the Coinomo app and click “Wallet” tab at the bottom. On the next page you will see the amount of funds you have, the “Deposit” button and a list of the coins you have. Since we will be doing USDT transfers, on this page you can directly click “USDT“.
2. Click Withdraw > BEP2
After you click USDT, you will be taken to the USDT coin page complete with the amount of USDT you have, transaction history starting from “Buy“, “Sell“, “Deposit“, to “Withdraw“. At the bottom you can directly click the “Withdraw” button which will take you to the next page. On this page, make sure you select BNB (BEP2). You can manually paste the Destination Address and MEMO from your wallet at TokoCrypto above, or click the Scan button.
3. Allow > Scan
If you press the Scan button, a request will appear to “Allow” the Coinomo application to access the required photos, videos or audio. You can select the “While Using App” or “Only This Time” option. After you give permission, you can directly scan your TokoCrypto wallet with the Coinomo application scanner as shown below. But before that, please make sure that BEP2 has been selected both from the TokoCrypto application or the Coinomo application.
4. Enter Amount
After the scan is successful, you can add the MEMO numbers manually from your exchange wallet or TokoCrypto. Make sure BNB(BEP2) is in the network section. Check again the Destination Address and MEMO. If you are sure, enter the amount of funds you want to withdraw. Make sure the amount of funds has been added to the Transaction Fee. You can see directly the transaction fees and minimum withdrawals at the bottom. After that, click the “Withdraw” button and enter your PIN code.
5. Email Verification
After entering the PIN code, you will be asked to enter the 6-digit code sent to your Coinomo email. Enter the code into the field provided, then click “Withdraw“.
6. Successful Withdrawal of Funds
Success! You have just made a withdrawal process from the Coinomo app! Your withdrawal history will appear shortly under the withdraw tab in Coinomo. A “Success” status will appear if the funds have been successfully sent to your exchange/TokoCrypto wallet. You will also receive an email notification from Coinomo for the status of your withdrawal transaction.
